Description
R407c is an HFC blend in air conditioning systems with properties similar to R22. R407C made up of R32, R125, and R134a, has a zero percent Ozone Depletion Potential and a low global warming potential, making it an environmentally friendly refrigerant. R407c refrigerant gas is suitable for air conditioning in homes and light commercial buildings and direct expansion systems. It’s also used in refrigeration systems with a medium operating temperature.
The refrigeration capacity per unit volume and the refrigeration coefficient are 5% lower than R22 in air-conditioning circumstances; the refrigeration coefficient changes minimally in low-temperature conditions, while the refrigeration capacity per unit volume is lowered by 20%.
